This is a sample blog post. Blog entries are written as POSTS:

The location of the Posts section in your Dashboard

To create a new Post (a new blog entry), click on Posts > Add New:

Location of New Post link

A fresh Post page will appear. This is where you write your blog posts. You can write as many as you want, and as often as you want! There are no limits! :)

Write your Post title, and then your entry in the main entry box:

Title & Entry sections on Post page

When you are done writing, type your tags (tags are blog lingo for keywords) in the “Post Tags” box.

Add your tags here (tags = keywords)

Then select Julie’s Journal from the “Category” list. This is important; it is what ensures that your new blog post will appear when a visitor clicks the “Julie’s Journal” box on the home page.

Select "Julie's Journal" as the Category

That’s it! Those are all the essential sections to fill out before publishing your post. If you’re ready to make your new post live on the internet, click Publish (upper right-hand side of Post page):

Publish!

Or, if you want to save it for later, click Save Draft.
